Appetizer - If you could have a free subscription to any magazine, which one would you like to have?
I use to have subscriptions to several, At Home in Arkansas, Guideposts, Southern Living, Country, Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home, Country Living, House Beautiful, Taste of Home, and so on. But I discontinued all of them except Guideposts because I don't have the time to read them and they would just pile up. I still have some in a basket from 2 years ago that I haven't read.
Soup - Describe your living room (furnishings, colors, etc.).
You would think with all the decorating magazines I would have a living room masterpiece. But the truth is I just have a collection of "used" furniture. First of all we have a "used" 32" tv that our daughter and son-in-law gave us because they got tired of watching our 13" that we stuck in the living room because we seldom watch tv in there. (It came from his parents when they got a big screen tv.) I had purchased a new sofa and wing-back chair in 1993, so it's "used" now. There is a neutral color recliner (used) there that belonged to my daughter-in-law and she had brought it in when Ethan was born to rock him in. There is a hide-a-bed (used) that belonged to my mother when she passed away. The couch's are in the shades of hunter green, navy blues and burgundy. The end-tables (used) also belonged to my mother. I have my great-grandmother's old secretary desk, "used". And a lot of toys, "used".
Salad - What does the shape of a circle make you think of?
Pie........or cake! Well we are talking about a "feast" here! Seriously it makes me think of "Full Circle of Success" (it's a Mary Kay thing). That........and smiley faces!
Main Course - Name 3 things in your life that you consider to be absolute necessities.
God, family, and chocolate.
Dessert - What was the last really funny movie you watched?
It wasn't a movie but we saw Steve Harvey at T.D. Jakes Megafest on tv (the 32" one) the other night. Don't go to the movies very often.

Great Feast! I share your love for decorating and chocolate!
Enjoy the rest of your Friday!
Cheryl, I'm with you - the magazines had to go. I wasnt reading them anyway, kept them to clip all those articles, then what do you do with the articles for pete's sake. I'm convinced it will save me not only money, but tons of time to just not order them. Much easier to sit at the library for 30 minutes and browse the ones I really want to read. Usually its one article.
My living room was nothing but "used" things for over 20 years. But I really treasure the used things I have in there now - my mother-in-law's rocker and curio cabinet. Some used things are way nicer than anything new could be.
I'm laughing out how many people have said they cancelled all their magazine subscriptions because they don't have time to read them. Wonder if blogging factors in.:-)
