I'm not the seamstress that Barb at "A New Chelsea Morning" is but I made a few of these today for my husband.

This post is concerning a rather private and delicate subject.

My mom use to make these for my dad. You make a pouch and put Alum (a spice) in it. They carry it in their pocket and it prevents them from getting galled (never had to know the spelling of that before)...galled - to make sore by rubbing; chafe severely.

This really works too. So if your husband, or anyone for that matter, works in a job that they sweat, this will really help. I guess the alum must absorb the moisture and prevents the chafing.

And aren't those little froggies so cute!
